During the 2003-4 activity sessions, MAPA has dedicated a number of monthly meetings to the work and thought of Dr. Rudolph Dreikurs and his challenging book "Happy Children".  Members of the association took turns in concentrating on diverse aspects of this invaluable aid to parenting by focusing  on particular aspects of this work which were deemed to be of most common interest to our members.

Judging by the attendance and the response from those in attendance, the effort appears to have paid off and plans are underway to formulate next years program.  In the meantime here are some points from two of these meetings this year, one o them conducted by Karla Calleja which focused on the importance of refraining from over-protecting our children, and the other by Ingrid Micallef who concentrated on the role that encouragement plays in the upbringing of our offsprings.
